I-469 Restriction Between Exit 6 and Exit 9 Continues Through Mid-June

FORT WAYNE, IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District announces that I-469 between SR 1 (Bluffton Road) and Winchester Road is restricted for bridge painting work.

The location is 11 miles south of New Haven.

The work is expected to be complete by mid-June, weather permitting.

Drivers are advised to drive with caution in the work zone. In 2009, 700 people were killed nationwide in work zones. Most of the fatalities were not highway workers but drivers.
