Updating my computer and windows to 7

My old flea market computer was on its last bits, and the USB slots were not working the way I needed them to . .  so I broke down and updated to a faster Hertz, more gig and Windows 7.  Called up Marvin and he came over and spent some time getting  me started today and will be back on Saturday to finish up.

So at least today I was able to get most of it up and running and I have just finished adding some extension to Google Chrome, and next I need to work on my speakers so I can enjoy music as I am working on my computer blogging and all.  This newer flea market computer seems to be running faster and it makes me want to look for a nicer screen . . one of those flat 20 inch jobs to free up some of my desktop space . . but  I will need some longer cords to put things where I want them to sit.

Just so you know why I have not been on here much; my two back up drives went south and printer was acting up and so much more that comes with having these things in ones life and using them to near their capacities.  But by this time next week or two this should all be behind me for a few more years.

Hope others are investing in their computer use devices, productivity skills, and enjoying an ever advancing age of computing.  Getting computer savvy is becoming more and more important each year.   And not just using email or Face Book or similar, but getting really into using the home computer or net/lap book computers to do so much more for us.  So many Government agencies are using computers more and for us to keep in touch or do better at getting the right thing done without using the mail all the time or waiting on hold on the phone . . more agencies are allowing email to be used, as well as messaging.

Just think about the Anderson and Muncie free press; and how nice it is to come on here and be able to share and explore other thing such sites have to offer.  It does not have to cost to much to be computer connected to a degree you need and want.
