The Remainder

• harassment - maybe there's hope for citizen journalism. the admin shows up and says he wants to keep it nice, but doesn't have time or inclination to moderate. please self-moderate doesn't work, doesn't cut it. we have the tools here, at MFP. we're just awaiting you, the people, to find the site on your own because other local media want to ignore it, hoping we go away. (and i do have a few ideas in mind to simplify the site even more for those of you still having problems with the layout/functionality here...) no ill will to them still working 'over there', but i know the forum isn't a big money maker for them and therefore not very important. when i suggested volunteer mods they loved the idea because it cost nothing. and now the forum is like Rome in its last days perhaps - or some other great/large ancient culture.
