Heekin Park Family Fun Fair - July 12 '05

The Heekin Park Family Fun Fair will be held on Tuesday, July 12th (rain date July 19th). It is being put on by TEAMWORK for Quality Living. They will have community information exhibits, health screenings, free snacks, kids games and activities, and prizes.The grand prize is a $150 gift certificate to Walmart. They will be giving out market bucks that kids can use to purchase fresh food at Minnetrista. There will be a green map booth at the fair. The Delaware County Green Map shows where to find outdoor recreational areas and local and organic food in Delaware County.

TEAMwork for Quality Living is a nonprofit grassroots organization dedicated to improving the health and quality of life in Muncie and Delaware County, Indiana. TEAMwork meets community need by convening citizens and organizations around issues and opportunities and by helping coordinate community organizing efforts as those committed participants begin their work.
