AVG 2013 Free - Toolbarqueries Problem

PALO ALTO, CA  - There are reports of AVG 2013 Free Edition having problems with a window popping up saying Toolbarqueries.google.com/tbr?client=navclient is a malicious website. There are people talking about it on the official AVG forums.

I'm on Windows XP.
AVG 2013 Free

Today on every website I go to (including this one) I receive a pop up box with the following:

toolbarqueries.google.com/tbr?client=navclient......

I have no idea what this means but it's annoying since it's happening on every website including the AVG one.

The show more says it's a malicious site (including AVG).
More info takes me to the virus and threats web page but not to anything specific.

Is AVG telling me it's let a virus through?

Please can someone point me in the direction of what this means and how I fix it.
