Men’s Hoops: Ball State Draws Southeast Missouri for BracketBusters

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men’s basketball team will play a road game Feb. 23 at Southeast Missouri in the Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. ET) in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

ESPN, the organizer for the 11th annual event, announced the matchups Monday. This season, 122 schools from 13 mid-major conferences are competing. Ball State, which played at home for last year’s event, was already guaranteed to have a road game this year.

Southeast Missouri is currently 11-13 overall and 3-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference. Ball State, which has participated in the BracketBusters event since its inception, sits at 8-12 overall and 2-6 in the Mid-American Conference.

The Cardinals face Ohio on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. tipoff at Worthen Arena. See more at
