Pumpkin Day at the Wayne County Produce Auction is Sept. 18

WAYNE COUNTY, IN - The Wayne County Produce Auction supplied in the small Amish community of Williamburg on Friday already had those huge pumpkins for Halloween.
The operation on Carlos Road off U.S. 35 brings all type of growers and buyers from Indiana and Ohio to buy and sell produce.
Samuel Miller Jr runs the auction held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and the prices cannot be beat. On Friday, a crate of big pumpkins went for $8 and four big mums were about $2.
The big pumpkin day and a free lunch for buyers is Sept. 18. So stop by at the best farm auction in eastern Indiana - the old country of Williamburg.
