American Chevy Moving in Muncie, IN
Free Press Report
MUNCIE, IN - The new American Chevrolet Cadillac on McGalliard Road opens Monday after the caravan of cars and trucks moved over the weekend. Steve De Anda, president of the dealership, was looking over the property Sunday when we found the doors open and lights on.
The state of the art service and sales center comes right out the General Motors playbook for Chevy dealers. The traditional blue banner is at the busiest intersection on McGalliard Road where as many as 25,000 motorists travel every day.
And motorists will be slowing down to see the new American dealership since the intersection with Nebo Road will be rebuilt before Christmas. De Anda hopes having his own property will ultimately reduce operating costs which means savings can be passed on to customers.
And American has something not found at other local dealers. That is a an electric plug in for the new Chevy Volt next to the front door. The Volt is GM's hybrid that is an everyday car with a 380 mile range.
The dealership is full of GM trucks, vans, Chevrolets and Cadillacs. Look for the grand opening soon.
