MUNCIE, INDIANA (NEWS) - The Boys & Girls Club of Muncie will host a Christmas Celebration for all registered members on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 4:30 – 6:00 PM.

In coordination with Northside Assembly of God Church and other volunteer groups, the Christmas Celebration will feature a homemade chicken and noodle dinner, entertainment, gifts and several surprises. Christmas gifts, including scarves and mittens, have been donated by Morrison Woods, Ball State Federal Credit Union, Mid-Eastern Association of Realtors, Nash & Sons Trucking Co. and Studio K Salon.

The Christmas Celebration is for registered members and families that have participated in the Fall Afterschool Program. Members come to the Club each day directly from school and participate in PowerHour and other coordinated programs that focus on Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles. This will be the last event for the Boys & Girls Club’s Fall Program before closing for the holiday break. We will re-open for regular programs on Monday, January 6, 2014.

The Boys & Girls Club of Muncie was founded in 1933. Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential, as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
