Winter Coaching positions filled for the 2014-2015 School year at Muncie Central High School

MUNCIE, INDIANA (NEWS) - The interview team consisted of the Chief Academic Officer, Director of Human Resources, Director of Secondary Education, Principal at Muncie Central High School and the incoming Athletic Director of Muncie Central.

The team recommended Jeff Holloway as the Boys’ Basketball Coach, Lisa Blalock as the Head Girls’ Basketball Coach, Mark Scott as the wrestling coach and Steve Spradlin as boys and girls swimming coach.

The new addition to MCS 2014-2015 academic year coaching staff is Jeffrey Holloway, a 1994 graduate of Muncie Central. He played Division I Basketball while in college and played professional basketball in Europe and South America.

He has been in the Union School Corporation, Modoc Indiana for the past 6 years as the Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach, and Athletic Director. Jeffrey has positioned himself as a leader in many school improvement initiatives and projects. His past and current principals describe him as hard working, energetic, and student oriented. He works well with faculty, staff, students, and parents.

Jeffrey is a product of Muncie Community Schools and graduated from Muncie Central High School where he excelled academically and athletically. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and was granted his Masters in Sports Administration from Ball State University in 2009.
