Once again, (and probably once a month during the Summer) the tournament team at The Warrior's Heart Family Martial Art Center is having a CAR WASH to sponsor their tournament travels. Their next big tournament is in Houston, Texas this Fall. A lot of our Homeschool Group is planning to go, as well as some of our adults and other students. They have even convinced ME to compete there this time.

The past month or two the students have been preparing for our annual trip to St. Louis to attend the Kuk Sool Won tournament there. It is a very competitive tournament with competitors from all over the country and even Canada. It is a great experience for the students since they get to meet people from all over who are doing the same things that they do, and know some of the same weird stuff that they know. It's a similar experience for a martial artist as tail-gating is to the football fan, or the Star Trek convention is for the techno geek.

The Warrior's Heart Family Martial Art Center is holding a carwash to help fund their tournament trip to St. Louis. The suggested donation is $5 to $10. Special thanks to the CarQuest Auto Parts store on W. 8th Street for dotation of supplies!
