A march for Tori to stop bullying

MUNCIE, IN - Nearly 1,000 youth and some adults of all races and religions marched out of Heekin Park Friday to help end the bullying that took the life of Tori Swoape.
Bullying can lead to violence

MUNCIE, IN - It was something on the minds of local youth workers on Tuesday as a school administrator and youth minister talked about the bullying and violence and what to look for and what to do about it.
The day before, a youth described as an outcast who might have been bullied or upset that someone was dating his ex-girlfriend walked into a Cleveland, Ohio suburb high school and started shooting. A day later three youth were dead with more wounded.
Bullying and fight club
MUNCIE, IN - The Indiana Youth Council along with a local church is hoping to end the fight club that recently hit the downtown and Southside High School by a public dialog about bullying and violence.
A local Youth Worker Cafe sponsored by that Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County will be held Feb 28 at Cornerstone Center for the Arts, 520 E. Main St. around the lunch hours of 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ball State University and the Children's Bureau also is helping.
