My name is Henry Studer and I am a 1971 graduate of Knightstown High School, and lived for 6 years at the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children's Home in Knightstown.
I currently live in Wadsworth, Ohio and serve as Evening Chaplain at the Haven of Rest Rescue Mission in Akron, Ohio.
I have been married for 34 plus years to a girl I met at the Knightstown Home, and we have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. The closing of the Knightstown Home is something I am deeply concerned with, and only wish most children could have experienced the value lessons learned at the Home. What a wonderful place, and a great opportunity.
