Bio: Born and raised in Muncie, Selma and Yorktown, I lived away from Indiana for 20 years, returning with a husband and a ton of stereo equipment. Since then, I've settled in and enjoyed time with my family and mourned the loss of beloved family members and friends. I now have a small business concern which takes me all over the US and the world. That's was the best decision ever. Then, I was diagnosed with a ton of autoimmune diseases and disorders. I was abgry for awhile, then decided I would not be a statistic, nor would I be defined by whatever was happening to me. After the tax situation hit the fan, I found a friend, confidant and unindicted co-conspirator in the person of Carol Bouslog. Another woman who came of age when women were not content to look and live like June Cleaver. We've formed The POT Party, as a citizens action group. The acronym said it all - we were ( and are ) Pissed Off Taxpayers. Funding was a small issue, so the name was pivotal for grabbing the eyes and ears of the public. Now, we see The POT Party as a long term self-help group for the community. We are non-partisan. We tackle issues which affect our fellow citizens, not just taxes, but matters which affect qaulity of life for everyone. Money isn't an issue, because we don't " do " fundraising. We do appreciate all the help we can get, in terms of researching issues, documentation, etc. I am proud of our mission statement and long range plans.
